The ‘Self-Awakening for holistic Health’ program for all employees of the Office of the President was completed on 29 Dec 2014. In the program, reverend Bhanu Gurudev said that self-awakening is the act of awakening the internal energy and self-confidence within each person. Gurudev said that for a person to be completely healthy, one should be aware of the seven dimensions of health: physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, spiritual and ultimate health. Stating that Nepalis have healthy lifestyles that have been developed by their ancestors over the years, Gurudev said that they should be taken to the world and brought economic prosperity. Since those lifestyles contain methods of staying healthy and peaceful, Gurudev said that it should play a role in making it a world destination country by turning it into a health tourism. Gurudev also practiced the self-awakening meditation method in the program. In the program, Joint Secretary of the Office of the President Nirajan Ghimire said that self-awakening will help make national servants disciplined, dedicated, patriotic and karma yogis.
